NikpV Posted June 28, 2006 Report Posted June 28, 2006 Why do we go through these cycles - a while ago we had lots of posts on Mafs which have now dried up, then loads of posts on windows /Cl wiring problems, then key/lock programming problems, then wiper problems, recently petrol starting problems- relay 27/30/167 it seems they come in waves as if Guests see the subject come up and decide to register and ask their variation until that subjects done to death. This pattern does seem new though, I've not noticed it before this year. Anybody else seen this before (excluding old chestnuts such as aux heater, Aircon, spare wheel winch) Quote
mumof4 Posted June 28, 2006 Report Posted June 28, 2006 Hmmm...im sure it was wipers before MAFS......it did seem that everyones MAF seemed to bugger up at the same time though!!....and the relay one is always going i think..not that i have a clue about it. My car is going in on wednesday to for a full service and to find out what is wrong with it..i told hubby that it didnt sound right...just you he said......dont think so!! Anyway, ive noticed that it comes in waves...a lot of newbies with similar probs...as long as we can help em out then thats the main thing i guess..(when i say we..i mean you lot!! ;) ) :D Quote

El Dingo Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Ummmm.... getting back on track again! Could it be seasonal? Oggy. Oggy's got it... Wet weather = wipers and scuttle drainsWarm weather = most aircon problemsVery cold and wet = anything that needs fixing while laying underneath the carRain of pointy tacks = spare wheel holderFloods and mudslides = ABS Above 30 degress = "Does my car have dual climate?"Below 3 - 5 degrees = "Why has my aircon stopped working?" There must be more evidence... Quote
mumof4 Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 The problems are more than likely there all year round but just not noticeable till the problem item is used or required! i have a prob at the mo where my washer jet on the passenger side just dont want to squirt water very far...its like a limp hose with a trickle coming out of it whereas the right one gives off a beautiful fan shape waterfall!!..ah well....illl sort it out later! :( Quote

greg_68 Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 When I squirt my load it goes striaght over the roof and onto the car behind. Do I need to see a mechanic or a doctor. Quote

Loads should be securely stored in the luggage compartment or on a roof rack or luggage box.I suggest you try Halfords roof box department. :D Quote
